This Succulent Fairy Garden is our of Burl from a locust tree. Naturally selected and created without drilling, tools, wires, etc. Locusts are over 70 percent harder than black walnuts, and like cedarwalnutshave a no rot characteristic! Their deep crevices and curving grain is perfect for this piece.
 
The Arangment is 4 months old and well rooted. Allowed to grow freely, the succulents are spreading and filling in naturally and have done so beautifully!
 
All trailing succulents can be trimmed at will. This is an ideal Bonsai for succulent lovers! All succulents that spread are also able to live outdoors to negative 20 degrees! All others are stationary and should be left alone to grow on the piece as they are making it even more gorgeous and colorful! Water once weekly with Luke warm water running slowly for 2 to 3 minutes. Allow the water to run down I between all plants and the wood. The wood has live mosses that are living on it! They range from bright, vibrant blue to vivid lush green and will spread with time. They compliment the vibrance of the succulents and give notice to the natural presence of all elements. Tilt the piece when watering to ensure water makes it into each crevice as that's where the roots are living in substrate! Turn the piece when it's near w indow etc for even growth all the way around or leave it alone for trailing plants will come up and over to display with the front if desired. From orange to blue, pink to purple, and green to yellow and cream this piece has it all. New plants are emerging, and this Bonsai is flourishing!
